Why does this life create so much pain

When will this pitch black darkness show me the light

Trying to escape a reality full of demise

For many years I tried so hard to fufill intent in a broken world

I want to scream I want to cry to stop this pain I hate to admit I want to fade away

Today is the day to stop pretending that you're OK

I try to remember whats it's like to be alive then I realize it's time to take the fall

Lowering down to the bottomless pit the ground beneath me is no where to be found

Dark clouds covered the sunshine in my life theres fire in the distance you can see it grow

Feeling so helpless feeling so small always pushing forward but awaiting the fall

Pressing my fingers against the sky

In a silent scream I am alone

Lowering tumbling and weakening

I hit the point in my life where everything has come crashing down

I cried I fought I tried

Fingers bleeding from grasping the wall

Hanging in to the light

No matter how hard we try we can never escape
