Where do you go when you’re trying to be, away from all the things that fall in your head while you sleep?

Is it too much to ask to be at peace?

Taken out of the equation of all the worldly things

I wanna feel the innocence again.

Like we did when we were ten

It always finds me when I close my eyes

She whispers in my ears, tells me I need to unwind

It’s always the same, every time.

I give in and that’s another stripe on my saviors back, and I just have to live with that.

Venomous fluids rushing in, I feel the burning underneath my skin,

Can you feel it happen again?

You ask yourself “ when will it end?”

It’s gotten to the point of no remorse

It’s gotten to the point where I should just give in. Go back to church and be prayed for again. Again and again. Again and again and again. AGAIN AND AGAIN AND AGAIN.
