I choose to be humbled by this experience

I choose to be flexible like all those trees in proverbs that don’t lose branches in a storm

And that weight is so heavy

But I choose to be happy

And though you may try to break me, I am a woman of strength, I choose to take it lightly

Your whole passage through life needn’t be so serious

If you’re too serious, you may just miss it

Go buy some flowers

Send a get well card

Breathe in the fresh air

Go walk in the park

And knit a jumper

And greet your neighbours

And take the bins out

And read the papers
