My love

By now we read each other like tea leaves

I love how you can trace the arch of my hunch

To notice the weight of a bad day on me

Or how you know just when is the perfect time

To bring me a cuppa tea

M has that same sensitivity of yours

Not to mention accompanied by a sharp wit

Craving for independence

She'll soon leave, much to our hearts protesting

But I'm also renewed at the thought of date nights

Becoming a daily prescription again
