In a world where nothing's as it seems

And though I try, it seems nothing ever matters… no

I need a place where I can find some peace

We're living in a world we know could use some change,

But everyone is just too focused on yesterday

You know I try my best, and yet to no success

Well I'm just praying that you'll save me!

And so I'm asking myself all these questions

Like can someone on their own really make a change?

Because I do my best, but I can't see the blessings…

Well is anyone there, or is it just me?

But then I realize I have always known that we are not alone though sometimes we may feel lonely

And so I still believe, even when I can't see,

That somebody can really hear me!
