No light

No end in sight

Alone in a pitch black room as it all sinks in

Dull the blade, prolong the pain, this journey has just begun

They chain me to a table

They flay me of my skin

"this is exquisite sorrowing"

Begging for salvation, longing for your touch

"and still you will have not suffered enough"

I see your face on the other side of grief

A temporary reverie, lost, every time I wake

So here I sit in this cell waiting for release

I sleep but never rest, I bleed but never die

Peel back the ribs and let them in, they take until there's nothing

(a prisoner of time)

This dream of pain will never end

On waking, I still miss you

(in a panopticon of pain)
