Lyrics

I looked at the glass shards, and slopped out a small sigh of sorts Soft amber lights flicker, exhaustion hit me swiftly And the tiles of my bathroom floor reflect opaque sickness Marble finish was the dream but right now it's ceramic I wonder if my dreams part themes, 'cause now I feel pathetic I scramble to my shower floor where I can just forget it The H-two-O is great to slow my mind into a glacier The water's warm, yet thoughts are cold, I haven't broke the layers I will never match my temperatures, I will never control the steam I will never wash the dirt and grit from innocence deplete There will never be a time machine to take back all those things And I'm sorry that the water sears But that's just how it flows it seems Glass panes Greenhouse gasses I'm infecting my environment, a global warming catalyst Dopamine and cortisol intertwine in alchemy I don't know much science, but my molecules are bubbling From the pressures and humidity I become one with the droplets as I melt into sludge I stare at the shards and think where I went wrong
