(Dear whoever is listening to this right now) (I just want it to be known that) (If you have dreams or) (Anything you wanna accomplish in life) (You can do it) (Anything is possible) (Trust Me) (You just gotta really really want it) (And if you want it bad enough) (You can get it) Listen I used to look up to the stars like one day that's goin be me Used to look up to the sky like one day I'm gonna see My face on a blimp, Or my name on the back of a plane telling everybody that I got a gift I'm just tryna show the world that You can do anything you wanna if you want it bad Then you start to dream about them things that you never had And leave all that misery in the past (Leave it in the past) I think back to them times I Used to run outside and climb up my favorite tree (That was my favorite tree) No worries, no stressing, life is a blessing I don't have responsibilities (I don't have responsibilities) Not a care in the world, finally feeling free I'm just happy I can finally be me Imagine 10 years later looking back Would I be proud of what I see I would climb to the tipidy top Grab my pen and pad then I draw Long road leading up to the house on the hill Maybe that's the place I learn to be real Maybe that's the place I'm meant to be Maybe I should stop wondering if my momma missing me It's hard to forget history Cause family is my everything So how could I just up and leave the people I see everyday This chapter of my life taught me so much It's hard to flip the page (One thing I learned) Only the strong survive Only the real ones make it out I saw my momma cry I thought to myself maybe I was just a waste of time, Waste of space, waste of life, man I was petrified Maybe I should runaway in hopes to find a better life Searching for that paradise Look down at my hand, and there I found a pair of dice Shook it and rolled snake eyes, two of a kind so I rolled twice I got a second chance, everything you sacrificed turned me to a better man (Better man) Hell of a mother but you're heaven-sent (Heaven-sent) And all them mean things I said yea I never meant to hurt you I'm just tryna give you everything you deserve to (Everything that you deserve to) If you got people in your life you better love em Cause one day you could lose em You'll never have the chance to tell em that they were the reason You're following your passion and you never get to sleep in Tell what's the point of life cause I've been searching for the meaning Give me the definition Tell me exactly what I'm supposed to do when stuff like this happens I know as long as I'm having fun that's all that matters You told me that (You told me that) And then I wrote that (Then I wrote that) Down in my note pad But now I'm so sad because the last time you left you never looked back Was it something I said or was it something I did Cause lately I've fighting off these feelings Sincerely, The Realest
