I ran into the dark thinking "im never coming home again." they'll have to think of me if i just scream loud enough. i have nothing to prove. not to them, not to me, not anyone. i watched the city lights and i wished they'd blow away. loud enough that they won't forget me, loud enough that no one ignores me, loud enough to drown the boring sound of everyone rotting in this town. i found myself choking, my own hands at my throat. i breathe in but the air's forced out of me. i look down and its all so clear to me. amplify for everyone in this town
