These times that we live in are tough
With too many people that care only about their own lives
And people like that don't care about those in need
They only do what it takes to survive
It's sad when people don't help one another
And they just hide inside of their homes
People avoid any contact with others
It's a shame what this pandemic has done
We have few common grounds between us
And disagreements have kept us further apart
We can only hope that these times get better
So we can show the best of who we are
So lets try to help one another
And stop making wars from afar
