Four Walls

Unopened mail sitting in a pile by the door Coffee cup been there since the week before, or more Sometimes, I need to pull my head in my shell And tell the world that it can go away for a while But I'm getting stronger every day And I know the clouds will roll away Just a little time I gotta wait And I'll be better Yes I'm lighter everyday though I'm carrying this weight I know things are going to change and I'll be better I'll be better Trees have their seasons to blossom and grow Just when it seems like there's no end to the snow So I'm hibernating, contemplating, celebrating all of the phases Days go by and my pages turn Slowly I write the words I learn But I'm getting stronger every day And I know the clouds will roll away Just a little time I gotta wait And I'll be better Yes I'm lighter everyday though I'm carrying this weight I know things are going to change and I'll be better I'll be better
