As I walk 

to the stream

black velvet pulls me

i felt a call from the deep

that the end I’d come to meet

As I go

to the dark

black water holds me

we’re fatefully bound to defeat

and the world lies tied at our feet

So tell me why

we were offered this time

to be alive that morning

If I'd try this ride even twice

It’d be the rhythm of the tides

The salt 

in the sea, 

is the salt running through me

the red 

against the green

is a call from the blossom, that wants to be seen

I’d slide down in, a mothers skin

whispers with another morning
