Going Back to the Start

The doors have opened, I'm going back in my mind To simpler feelings, To simpler days gone by When life was a wonder, And all I had was a sound Before all the thunder, Came knocking me over, Over and over I'm gonna back to the start when the future was bright I'm breaking the chains to my heart gonna make it all right No sense of anger, No fear to slow me down It's gone in the blink of an eye The pass of the seasons, the pass of the mornings' light Forgetting the reasons, forgetting to question why Facing my failures, Not letting them get away Replacing the pieces. Getting in motion and staying in motion I'm going back to the start when my eyes were wide Avoiding the days in the dark gonna live in the light No wasted moments, no one to cut me down They're gone in the blink of an eye Going back to the start and I'm leaving today Breaking the chains to my heart and I'm running away I'm going back to the place where it all began I'm jumping back in the race cause I am strong again No walls to bind me.
