Ecstatic Meteorite

I stand all bewildered with wonder

And I gaze on the ocean of love

And over its waves to my spirit

Comes peace like a heavenly dove

 

I struggled and wrestled to swim it

The river that washes me clean

But when I had ceased from my struggling

I drifted into the serene

 

The mountains singing tonight

The trees are clapping delight

The wine flows freely tonight

Ecstatic meteorite

 

The Prince of my peace is passing

And He calls me to follow Him too

And listen to the word He is speaking

My peace I will give unto you
