The moon hangs in full above this road of solitude Whispers echo throughout the night And I can hear them all they say Such a fitting length of rope You could use the same Align the stars and spell out your name I did as I was told I cannot remain The sun The sun; awakens my consciousness And I peek out from the dark The outskirts Frighten me first Before the charge into A place I try to forget But that's unethical it's Beautifully blossoming into nothing The best part is that I watch it all From the highest point of denial That same length of rope pulls up the moon And the stage evolves with the backdrop dropping in A whimsical tune is then played slightly off-key With the sun strolling up poorly colored breathing heavy and pink A voice struggles while the words are slurred to death "I'm on the edge and I'm caving in this is it I'm losing everything tonight Cause I'm on the edge and I'm caving in this is it I'm losing everything tonight."
