When I came to this morning~ the Black Clouds had set in~

I was blue and it was storming inside my head again~

Lately its the rainy season~ they come and go no rhyme or reason~yesterday was perfect skies today feel like I mighty die~

Somedays it might rain an hour or it could rage for weeks~

Sometimes just simple shower some rains raised the creeks~

The deluge soaks me to the bone~ the blues they choke me~

Steal my song~ days like these I stay in bed..

And try to chase away the Black Clouds in my head ~

Thunder, Lightning all around~Torched me, scorched me burned me down~the darkness weighs on me these days and the waters calling~ causing waves~ the ebb and flow it never ends ~high tides rising rolling in~I do my best to keep my head above the growing flood~ I hope that I don’t meet my death and get left here in the mud~the downpour drowns me to the core~ no arms around me anymore~ days like these I stay in bed~

And try to chase away the Black Clouds in my head~

I hope the storm inside subsides as I try to ride it out tonight~

It cant last this too must pass as dark gives way to light~

I don’t wanna waste another day~go someplace where it don’t rain ~ its hard to do this much is true but I gotta find a way~

Black Clouds seem to follow me~been surrounded all these years~in my dreams it seems they’ll swallow me and drown me in my tears~ I gotta see what tomorrow brings cause I still got a song to sing~ Rise and shine and fight another day~ and try to chase the Black Clouds away~(Try to chase away the Black clouds in my head…)

I know that theres a silver lining~ I just don’t know where to find it~gonna turn my collar to the wind and try to find my way again~

They say that it cant rain every day and the Black Clouds cant be here to stay ~ gonna say goodbye too the skies of gray and chase these Black Clouds away….
