It’s a grey day and the pine trees are dripping

In a grey mist and I feel like I’m tripping

In a grey world, my reality is slipping

Lost in the fog in such a grey day

In the grey light that is filtering down

Through these grey clouds that completely surround

All is dream like there is hardly a sound

How can we sparkle on such a grey day

Hey Mr Sun, won’t you show your face

Come and bring a little sunlight to this cloudy place

Show me a sign that will ease my mind

I can’t see my way clear

When you’re not here
