I wake up to another day, I don’t wanna get out of bed, can I just sleep the day away. Staring blindly at a blue screen, it’s something funny but I don’t even see it, and all the colors have turned gray.

When I close my eyes I can feel it, the pieces of my shattered heart breaking over and over again. If I listen close I can hear it, the sound of my deluded heart calling out your name.

But we were only ashes, shadows and dust. We were all illusions, filling up my mind. And I am only this moment, here in the now, and I am left with all the memories of you and I, stuck in my mind.

And now I wish I was a machine of aluminium and with a touch screen, and circuits all the way through. I could turn me off and shut me down, delete it all and build me up from the ground, erase all the memories of you.
