Dream Castle

I'm awake in my dreams

I follow the sounds that I hear

It gives me strength to carry on

Unburdened by my waking hours

I feel safe in my dreams

Followed by creatures for company

I build my house not of this world

And sleep again to brake my curse

It's never dark when I close my eyes

The reflections keep shattering my own mind

It hurts at first but then it makes me calm

Until I can feel the morning dawn

One day you're in, the next one down and out

Today you're hot, tomorrow you're colder than the ground

You wanna talk, but later you won't make a sound

Right now I'm lost, but have I really ever felt found

I feel awake from my own dreams

It took away my reason to live

The house I've built

From bricks and sand crumble down

Please give me strength

To rebuild it again

One day you're in, the next one down and out
