It’s easy to say that things changed ,

When it feels like this was the first time,

It was something new, divine,

Was it all going to come down to me giving in,

So I let it fill me full.

Then the world decided to come to a close,

One only knows when the next time we’d share a dream,

Crushed when it seemed like never

Nothing left but to move the meter back to zero,

Is that the way you see it too,

Is there a chance I could be moving this all wrong,

When there’s no one that seems to fit this side of forever

The distance between,

The feeling beneath,

I’d half this heart if it brought it all back,

It’s just easier to say things changed.
