Haunted

I remember the night when you were there The bite of the winter air And you held your arms around me If only I had known That you would let me go If only I could have seen underneath the surface I can not shake this feeling When my wound are fresh and bleeding When it feels like nothings going right And I can not fall asleep at night But when I go and close my eyes I know that what I find, deep inside, still haunts me I've done this all before But why am I still unsure Of the path that lies before me? Is there nothing left for me? Is this where I want to be? Revisiting these memories But as time goes on These memories will be dead and gone, dead and gone When it feels like nothings going right And I can't fall asleep at night But when I go and close my eyes I know that I will not be haunted I will not be haunted
