Only Jesus

I have raged against it the waning of the day

As the nighttime put my sadness on display

And struggling for rest here I tried in every way

And now I find my rest in only Jesus

I have put my hope in the blind that lead the blind

In human hands that hurt me every time

They despise the poor and hungry and leave me far behind

So now I find my hope in only Jesus

Montana big blue sky beauty the skill in human hands

And the banks of Lake Fontana where water drapes land

Every good and perfect gift all part of a plan

And in these blessings I see only Jesus

My soul has been at battle since the moment of my birth

No peace afforded to me on this earth

But now I have a comfort with no measure of it’s worth

And now I find my peace in only Jesus
