It's one of those suffocating moments
Where the whole world opens up and swallows you whole
And you don't understand where it comes from
Or why it happens it just does
And you beg your doctors to take you seriously
Because you're tired of just surviving
You want to live
You want to enjoy the things you used to
To have the energy to get out of bed in the morning
But when the sertraline doesn't work
And you move onto the next chemical
It's an endless cycle of trial and error
While you're buried on a waiting list
Only to be lucky to be seen another three years from now
How many more people do we have to lose?
