Long ago there was a pirate ship Floating uncharted in the blue of the sea The thunder was pounding The ocean breeze howling The crew were as cool as can be The roughening water The dark skies beyond Swallowed their pride as They carried on There on that ship in the eye of the storm Sat a captain Both clever and cruel Never the one to stand down Until they would have plundered Each pound and each jewel And just like magic Their riches would grow The captain yelled "onwards" And onward they go Ooo You better behave or you'll end up below Ooo The captain yelled onwards so onwards you go Now in the ship as the storm was still stirring The captain's beginning to call "All men on deck" but with no one to check As the flooding had entered the hall The ship slowly rocking Had crept in the tide The captain is watching So softly they cried Ooo Show no fear or be tossed over the side Ooo The captain is watching so softly they cried And the captain is shouting Every man for themselves But the crew begins running up towards the mast And his first mate rebels And he draws his sword swiftly With the tidal waves closing in So the captain not thinking Just takes one look and swings And the mast breaks And the sails fall And the sky starts to burn There is a ship at the bottom of the sea Full of broken walls, burnt wood, and gold Rotted away like its captain and crew And all of it left down below The captain said onwards, so onwards you go Ooo Rotted away (pause) And left down below.
