Gratitude

give me something to hold on, to breathe for

give me something so I won't pretend

give me something to feel I could live for

give me something I don't need to change

give me something to praise not to pray

give me something that I won’t regret it

to enjoy, to forgive, to parade

to believe I can change my own world in a frame.

I can't remember what it's all about

So Keep digging it deep

So we may believe in something until we all bend our knees

I'll keep looking forward to spending

what will never come again

and embrace what Time is painting, deep down in our hearts
