As I lay in bed, I heard the call

The voice said I didn't have to fall

The sound of deliverance and I knew

It was the time to break my chains

The time to be born once again

As hopes of life and rescue grew.

The storm was raging, waves so high

My faith so tested that I cried

Shipwrecked, alone and lost at sea Tossed by waves and wounds that ran so deep Never saw just what my end could be

That night the spectre healed my pain
