Santa's little helper

Never got a gift

No one seemed to notice

That he too had a wish

Building dolls and race cars

Working night and day

Wrapped up all the presents

And put them on the sleigh

He took his time almost every year

Wrote a letter, posted it

But Santa was too busy

Flying around the world

To fulfill the wishes

Of other boys and girls

December was a busy month

And every time he tried

To tell somebody what he'd want

No one had the time

Santa's little helper

Never did complain

He just made clothes and wooden toys

For every one again

He took his time almost every year
