I find it harder to believe

That anybody could see themselves

As just another martyr on their knees

I will keep an eye out

And pray to god

That maybe one day you’ll get it through you thick and violent head that your afraid

Of the Truth

That it's only you that sees yourself as something we should all aspire to

You would just take it and run

All the fame when its done

Has left you paralyzed

Now your inflated an hung

By the place that you run

Don’t tell them otherwise

You’d never volunteer to be

Someone that looks upon world and think there might be something bigger that we need

Then staring at a screen

And watching you

Contradicts the balance and the truth of our youth

It makes me cry

That you and me will never thrive
