I was 12 years old, no one knows

I’m crying in a bathroom stall alone

No peace at home

Wondering why this is how my story goes

I prayed, Dear Lord

Please don’t forget about me

But hindsight is 20/20

I can finally see

All of those

Late nights wondering where my life was going

All those trials I could not understand

You knew right what You were doing

The good times and the bad

They all were just a part of the plan

Fast forward I was 16

Trying to figure out what the whole thing means

I was empty, living selfishly, but somehow You weren’t done with me

Cause soon enough

I found Your love

Tasted what Your mercy does

Now it’s just so easy to see all of those

 

It’s all part of the plan You made

For all my days

Whatever may be coming
