Christmas Is Upon Us

Christmas is upon us kids are playing In the snow

some are warm and cozy some are cold and all alone

I am somehow feeling just a bit of both

magically

Santa's bringing gifts for both the young and for the old

I can hear you calling from beneath the mistletoe

thinking Reindeers are for children but tonight i think also maybe for me

its that time of year both for the good and for the bad

some may even say finally

some find the best time that they have ever had

wrapped underneath the Christmas tree.

where people of all ages sit and wait for Santa Claus

though noone really knows just what the point is to it all

somehow its a season that reminds us to be all we can be

doing what comes naturally

on a winter wonderland on a clear and silent night

stars shine up above me like a thousand candlelights for all to see

its that time of year both for the good and for the bad

some may even say finally

some can't enough others are troubled and sad

some just find it hard to believe

why people of all ages sit and wait for santa claus

when noone really knows just what the point is to it all

somehow its a season that reminds us to be all we can be
