Why I Believe in Santa Claus

The kids in school by the 3rd grade, all had doubts and lots to say…

“One man can’t fly all around the world,

And make a toy for every boy and girl.”

I’d be lyin if I said, “I’ve had no questions”

Is there some secret underground location -

A reindeer-runwayed-factory-super-station -

With elves singin and cookies bakin?

I hope so, but I know…

All good things in life require a little faith, a lotta love,

And givin way more than you take

That’s why I believe in Santa Claus, and I hope you will too

Lights glow dim on our big pine tree, huddled with my family

I love their faces Christmas night

Wonder dancin in their starry eyes

‘neath the paper’s more than presents

Just like the givin of the gifts from the wise men

It’s not about the perfume or shiny gold

It’s givin from yer heart and sharing yer soul
