I’m more than my body

Maybe I should of waited until it was all safe

But tomorrow happens today

I attached feelings to things that weren’t there Kept reliving a lot of things that hurt bare Really I should of moved on Focused on growth

from every lesson I learnt there

But I didn’t know what I know now

I’m alot better than I was then

I had to go through things

I couldn’t go around

I took my L’s & had to hold them

I never knew i was my own competition

I did, but didn’t

Thought i could just merk riddim

& find the piece that’s missing

I was different, but i never knew the difference The T&C’s were hidden

Thought I could go & live the life their living

Copy their pattern & just mimic

I didn’t listen

Then I was wondering why I wasn’t winning

I couldn’t grow through those conditions

I should of been more dismissive

You can’t be seen from a next man’s vision I lost myself for a minute

You know you can’t see it when you’re in it

 

I said I was done,but I guess I wasn’t finished I went back to the beginning Powers. Energies. Spirits

You’ll let the world control you

Cool,calm wicked

Set your boundaries not limits

Try take man for editat..is it

But that wasn’t the shoe that fitted

So I kept firing off & burnt bridges

Step steady and I move cautious

It’s not just my thoughts

That I am at war with

They didn’t want to listen

They didn’t want to care

But I’m still here

& now it’s all awkward

How they see me isn’t important

So I re-focused and got myself sorted

I’m focused on myself right now no outside images or endorsements

And I get my energy straight from the source I could never convince me that I’m sauceless

I never got brought in

Made my own portion

A lot time of the truth get distorted

But trying to convince them

Is exhausting
