The days and weeks are melting behind the glare of my little screen

I can't find the purpose hidden beneath the lies that are displayed so nice for me

When I wake up, I'm happy although the day leads me to question why that is

Am I consuming out of my own desire? Or am I a victim of the times?

I succumb to numbing feelings

I've lost compassion, I have no concern

When my time is up I'm riding into the center of the universe

Hush, I need a moment to breath

I can't seem to fill the spaces in between

All of the days spent wandering around so aimless

And all of the nights I've spent under the sheets

I always wonder why I'm pit against myself any time there's a war breaking out in my brain

Maybe the cries will spread my message up to the ears my voice will never reach

I could climb a corporate ladder

or blow my brains out

It's all the same

In the end, I've reached the conclusion

However I spend these days will be in vain

Please ignore my indecision

Had to take a lap to process exactly what I'm really tryna convey

No to be so pessimistic, but it's hard to sit through all the mundane
