Lyrics

Open eyelids, bedroom's quiet, alone
Scarlet morning, sailor's warning
I'm told
Coffee started, warm the heart and your mind
Drink by myself, three more will help it right
Help it right
Turn the house upside down
Just to leave
Broken silence, sing like violins for days
I have myself, I have myself to blame
Self to blame

Turn the house upside down
Just to leave
Generally I'm mentally exhausted and lost and I'm constantly tossing and turning and brought to the edge. I fall off the bed, end up hitting my head and I'm bleeding again. I'm seeing red – elevator in The Overlook. Being read, tell it later, I'm an open book that's been left out on the nightstand. A has-been, swept out with the mites and it's nights that I can't stand. I can't sleep and if the sandman brings xanax we'd clap hands, high five, laugh and I'd buy more, this guy's drug store. Disguise my score, some chloroform before I soar
I wore these curls, ignored these girls, enforced their hurls, my war this world. I wrote this prose in the bathroom stall in the back room hall where the blackened walls they caught me staying. My claim to fame is the same old shame. You'll see my name in the paper stained in the black and white when I leave this life but I seem to like how it's all laid out. I've played it
down around my town. I wore my crown much too long now. Hush to my sound, it's overcrowded. In this place I'm drowning
