Surely I've got common sense I know that life has downs I know those parts of town But still I Feel that I've paid my dues Now it's my time to live the good life So I bought a ticket, one way Out of here cuz' one day I I'm gon' be living my dreams But when I moved into the city My problems followed with me I I know that it rains I thought just not in LA LA LA What have I got to lose?
