In Still Silence

Deconstructing all that once was, that which flowed through my veins

Tearing my world apart; the declining tick, stopping the clock of my heart

A grim silence fell upon my soul, deaths truth to be told

Ripped me from my life and into the unknown

Carried into the morgue i watch from above

Silent night disturbed by the closing of a door

In still silence I lie in repose

In still silence her indignation grows

To mourn a tragic loss

This is a time for grief,

It's no such much that life leaves us

As it is us leaving life

The cry of mourning breaks the silence in the room

She clutches my hand and draws herself near

Through death I felt her tear fall to my face

And shattered my soul

This infinince has beckoned my soul

Painted a picture, taken a toll

A midnights rain fell upon my grave

Like tears from autumns sky

When she walks alone

The wind will sing my name

And in the evenings I am near

Crept from hollowed grounds

I reach out to hold your hand, to feel you and adore

Fingers slip through your hands as if it was a breeze and nothing, nothing more

Still I sit and watch you sleep, candles burn and shadows creep

Run my fingers through your hair clutching on to what once was

Dreams of a graveside apparition

Wakes you from your sleep

Glance around the room,

A sigh but no relief

A fate transpired

The undoing of all things

The pinnacle of all desire

burns within me

I would spend an eternity in hell, all for you
