As I watched him allofeed your every need as if you were an altricial nestling, until you were gorged with the belief that the poison is all you need.

A chemical dealer disguised as a healer.

Fake.

Fluttering through the notes in this ludicrous lullaby.

Why would I shatter with you for just one moment of duality?

How could I matter to you if I am constantly the casualty?

Does it really mean something?

Living absently, to feel nothing and everything at once.

I am delicate as glass, and I'm bound to break as such.

So in this moment I think that it's clear that I never belonged here.

In the absence of misery, I feel the need to set shit straight - I always wanted you to go away,

but the tragedy of empathy, is that I always thought I needed you to stay.

The hours turn to days, I know you still can't keep yourself away enough to just get some sleep.

It consumes all that you were.

I've finally let you go, to let it consume all you are.

I slipped into the void deep inside your head, lost inside the fog of the words you said.

The causality of your misery, is what consumes my reality.

Crippled in the depths of a vacant bed, empty as the home where you came and left.

Leaving life for highs, and love for lows.
