In a time of water for a Cancer Moon

I lay in bed beyond the dawn

Remembered a Magpie call

From 4 am

The city slept strangely in a time of death,

I rode with my sister to the cemetery edge

We sat and watched the sunset from a car park bench

I don't know how to find a way out,

But I do know how to love in short moments,

Friendship, beauty,
