I can't sleep

Can't even get a wink

I'm looking left and right and up and down I see no sheep

Cause when my mind starts to tie its shoes for a race it won't stop

I know I got to end it quick before the gun makes a pop

If my mind start the race my thoughts gone end up in a spiral

I can't afford the loss of sleep I'll be worn out tomorrow

And often times us humans make dumb choices when it's late

Because we're tired and our brains find the thoughts hard to escape like

My brain hit nitrous

This spiral crazy it might just

Make me go psycho just like this

These thoughts my mind can not digest

I feel like I cannot let it go

I feel like I'm all alone

I feel like trapped in my mind bout drown I these thoughts that I can't control

It's crazy how the next morning I tell myself that was so stupid

Why'd I stay up so so late allowing my mind to be so ruthless

I'm like I need a solution a resolution

I need to find where the truth is

Philippians 4 verse 6 through 8

Tells me that I just need to pray

I got to be thankful every single day

And maybe the selfish ambition

And me always wishing that things can maybe just be changed will wash away

Along with other sins

It's really hard for it to makes sense

But if we trust Him maybe God's peace fill us from within so
