Still Searching

Sometimes I wonder what's going on

When I stop and look at all the things we've done

You know it's pretty crazy how far we've come

It seems like only yesterday this all begun

I traveled across mountains and oceans too

Just so I can get a different point of view

Of what this life has to offer me

I feel at home when I'm close to the sea

And I've been around this world some

But there's still things I haven't seen and things I haven't done

I'm still searching

And when the waves come crashing down

I feel at ease to hear that sound and know

It's gonna be alright

Reflections off the sand from the tide comin in

The sunset sky's I got a drink in my hand

It feels so good to relax and breathe

This moment right here is all I need

And I know we all get caught up in the same old ways

Living life in routine days

But I decide to choose my own fate

It all starts with livin today

And I've been around this world some

But there's still places I haven't seen and things I haven't done

So I'm still searching

And when the waves come crashing down

I feel at ease to hear that sound and know

It's gonna be alright

Have you ever wondered who you're meant to be

You look at yourself and you feel incomplete

Well It could take awhile it could take some time

To figure out what you want in this life

Hold onto it and make it last

Before you know it's gone like that
