Shooting like a star,

That is what you are,

But you don't need that freezing snow

To shine your iridescent glow.

Dewey blades of grass,

Then the moments passed.

The sun is high up beaming down,

Just watch us burn it to the ground.

We can't keep this up,

I've overflowed my cup,

It's drying in the blazing heat

Still everyone here needs to eat.

Sick and tired fools

follow all the rules,

but now we've dug ourselves a grave
