Helpless, Not Hopeless

(V1) I’m not a stranger to trials and troubles

I’ve had my share of heartaches on the way

But I’ve held the unseen hand of Christ my savior

What peace I found in trusting Him by faith

When I feel lonely I’m never alone

When I am broken I don’t fall to pieces

When I’m the weakest in Him I am strong

(V2) Though sometimes discouraged don’t think I’m defeated

Though weary and worn my confidence remains

For He hears my cry and mercy without measure is poured out when I call upon His name
