I don't want to ignore my thoughts, however alarming

I looked my grief in the eyes and decided enough was enough, so enough

Can't change my situation, so I focus on my emotions and what there can be improved

I felt anxious but it forced me to be present and to be cautious with all the things I do

I wanted something better for myself, to taste it, the pain and the progress, something new

Bad times may not last, but bad people do
