The glory old days weren't as glorious as we make them out to be / Life had nothing in store for kids like us so we just needed a way out / Today is never glamorous but when present turns into past perhaps boredom will turn into art / Out of gas on the side of the road / Petty fights, egos hurt, getting robbed and cancelled shows / With no money or fame to be made, why we did it, who knows? / Still much better than being bored staying at home / But what's true is how much it meant / Nothing else mattered then / When you feel like you can do anything / What's true is how much it meant / Nothing else mattered then / When nothing can hold you back
