Chucky was a boy who dreamed of big things but he was born on the side of town where dreams die young

He couldn’t get a job because he had no degree

He couldn’t pay the fees

His grades were C’s and he was busted selling weed at the age of 13

Chucky wouldn’t beg to get ahead but he would borrow and steal

I don’t want your sympathy

I’m doing what’s best for me but I can’t do it peacefully

Chucky grew hard collecting debts and delivering messages for the guys down the street

They would point their fingers and say Chucky go get our money and teach them a lesson

Chucky didn’t hesitate and he plied his trade with relish

He grew numb from it all but his belly was full and he lived by his own rules

Nothing out here is free and I can’t get it peacefully

He was 22 years old

Nobody mourned Chucky and soon Chucky was completely forgotten.
