Legions once roamed through Gallic land

They came with bloody steel in bitter hand

For glory n gold they fought for the one

General of Rome, the Julian son

A million lives have passed away

In triumph he came back crowned by laurel

In hands the scepter with the golden eagle

Like Jupiter the King with red painted face

A slave held the oak leaf crown reminded him of his place
