Tell you the truth the world has been kinda depressing lately

Writing this is therapy allow me to sit in this chair and have this conversation

Took a flight to the free world

Only to realize

That we in a matrix

We all the same but somewhere along the way

We're taught hatred

Music gave me brothers with different colours

That never faded

Tell u the truth im grateful just to be able to say this

It truly feels amazing

But then as soon as i turn on the news my joy starts fading

Gaza under rubble air strikes scared faces

All the images and footage on my feed face it

My heartbeat racing these day my sleep wasted

But who am I to complain in my safe spaces

Dystopian reality im caught in two places

Go to work pay the taxes that go to bombs to erase races while the world's complacent

Whats the price to pay dream the night away

Wake up to the same world u left yesterday

Balance life and all the weight until finally comes the day were all the children could be safe

We inherited a world that's dying

So much beauty all around u can feel it in the silence

Bunch of the politicians lying

Teach us to hate and hope for violence

Divide us only love can truly guide us

Those attracted to power they nothing like us

Media wont ever push anything to unite us

It's on us

End the occupation let the people live

We all connected on this earth there's power in alliance

Just cz it happens oversees don't mean it's far away

I wanted a new phone I didn't know how it was made

For the people in the congo and sudan i pray to god u and ur children get to see a brighter day

And freedom only comes if u protect it

Evil spreads faster when good people let it fester
