Psalm 116

I love the Lord

Because He hears and He answer all my prayers

I love the Lord

Because He bends and listens

So I’ll pray as long as I have breath

Death had its hands around my throat

And the terrors of the grave overtook me

At least almost

All I could see was the trouble

All I could see was the sorrow

Then I called

Called on the name of

Of the Lord

I said, “Please Lord, won’t You save me”

Then I called

Called on the name of

Of the Lord

I said, “Please Lord, won’t You save me”

How kind the Lord is

How good He is

How merciful, this God, this God of ours

And I will rest, oh, will rest again

For the Lord’s been good

Been so, so good to me
