Succeeded In Everything (Joseph), Pt. 2

He's now in prison, together with two guys he was locked away

One morning these men, were upset, they dreamed something now it's on their mind

When Joseph asked them, they shared all their dreams, and now they feel confused

He knows that God is, the only who knows what they mean

One had a dream, where he squeezed 3 grapevines for the king

The baker then shared, he had 3 baskets on his head

The birds came and ate, the bread that had been for the king

The Lord spoke through Joseph, in 3 days, the king

Will get the cupbearer and the other one dies

But the LORD guided Joseph, the LORD guided Joseph

The LORD guided Joseph, the LORD was with Joseph

So he succeeded in everything

God has been spoken and everything happened

According to his word

Two years later, the King woke up, he was so disturbed

He had two dreams, he saw seven fat cows grazing by the river

Out of the sudden, seven thin and scrawny cows appeared

And they were eaten, all the healthy ones until there's nothing left

In the second dream, he saw seven heads of grain, so beautiful

They were swallowed up, by seven heads of grain they were really withered

The king called for help, calling wizards, the wisest men of his land

To tell his dreams, but no one could tell him what they meant

The pharaoh sent, for Joseph to interpret his dreams

Cause he heard about, what happened with the prisoners

After telling his dreams, Joseph shared the meaning to king

God is declaring 7 years of prosperity, 7 years of great famine

Throughout the Pharaohs land

But the LORD guided Joseph, the LORD guided Joseph

The LORD guided Joseph, the LORD was with Joseph

So he succeeded in everything

The Pharaoh saw it n' put him in charge of

The egyptian land

In the years of famine, the surrounding countries came and bought some grain

His family was struck too, the brothers came to Joseph not knowing he's him

When Joseph saw them, he pretended to be an unknown man

So he accused the youngest brother of stealing his kingly cup

But the LORD guided Joseph, the LORD guided Joseph

The LORD guided Joseph, but the LORD guided Joseph

God has been with him through everything

He gave him hope and showed him that everything

He said came to past

Yeah, he wanted to know, and expected them

To betray their brother, just like him

But to his surprise they didn't do the same

And offered their lives as an exchange

He couldn't hold back, broke down and wept

And told them the secret he had kept

I am Joseph, and I am your brother

Please tell me everything about our father

Joseph knew, cuz he understand

That it was all a part of God's plan

All that's happened has paved the way

So his brothers and their families could be saved

He told them to bring their families to Egypt

He will take care of them, so be it

After all these years, and all the fighting

Joseph and his brothers are reunited

His father's spirit was revived

When he heard about the news

And they went to Egypt
