He left

His words flowing forever through their ears

A gift

A cursed seed that rooted itself

And over the years

A flower unfurled

Where in its center contained a parallel world

Welcome to a dream he created with me

Maybe more of a nightmare

If I dare be so honest

Welcome to the place where his soul lingers on

Those other men

Or wanna-be's undaunted

We're separated by a thin vertical line

Are we out of touch

Or out of time?

We roam this unwritten land where we're told we don't belong
